RegCell is an Excel plug-in that converts regular-structured text such as payments, orders, billing records, etc. into Excel sheet rows.

The product includes the "software vendor" solution, which parses and imports RegNow, RegSoft, ShareIt and PayPal orders.

A typical scenario:

1) You have received the next order:

Order number 12345678-90123-4 has been authorized

Registration Date    : 03-01-2005
Product Name         : My Product
Order Type           : On-Line
Quantity             : 1
Registration Total   : $99.00

Name                 : John Smith
Company              : Smith & Co
Email                : john@smith.com
Address1             : 5th av.
City                 : New York

2) Select all text, copy to the clipboard.

3) Open a workbook with your orders and select "Parse clipboard" menu. A new record is inserted with cells filled with data:

At first, RegCell finds an appropriate template row using your text and the "key" (regular expression), "date1" and "date2" columns of the each template.

If the template row is found, RegCell copies it at the beginning or the end of a sheet (depending on options).

Finally, it calculates all regular expressions in the row cells.

Main product features are:

• Add your own columns, change column order, format and colour cells, set formulas etc.
  
  
• Define your own parsing using the documented regular expressions syntax.
  
  
• A full text body is copied by default into a cell (the "options" sheet), so you can inspect the source.
  
  
• Customize the insertion method: at the beginning, at the end of list (the "options" sheet).
  
  
• Pre-parsing and post-parsing string replacement (the "replacement" sheet).
  
  
• Parse a number of files (e.g. email messages) at once.
  
  

The product installation package contains software/shareware vendor solution that supports RegSoft, RegNow, ShareIt and PayPal orders parsing.

Moreover, we are providing a free service of customizing solutions that fits your business. If you send us your text sample, then we will have developed and send you back Excel workbook with parsing rules for your sample.
